On one of my last ibex hunts for 2012 and definitely looking forward to it, one of my favorites to chase. Located about 60 today on the 2,100 acre ranch and some real giants. Hunter arrives tomorrow and I Hope to get one of these big billies knocked down soon. I'll post pics as soon as possible. I know lots of y'all were asking about this hunt.

Awesome hunt, saw several big groups and ended up getting a perfect opportunity on this Billy at about 160 yards after a good stalk and a good time of waiting...much too good to pass on the first day. He measures 37" and 38".

Yes 2,500 for the weekend. Lodging, guided, meals, etc. included.

As far as over 40" goes, yes there is. Just depends on your preference of "flare" of the horns.

WOW!! That's a beautiful billy....and looks to be about as close as you're going to get to a pure Persian Ibex in Texas.

Yeah they do show a high percent Persian but sold as hybrids.
