I killed a rabbit with a model 39A at 60 yards.
Put a 40 grain thunderbolt thru both eyes
For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.

Doe at 442 and a turkey double at 338 w/ a 300 Jarrett. Its not as hard to do when your gun is sighted in at 250 and you have a 20x Leupold.
All ready

Farther than I should have been shooting on a running doe. Missed a 250, missed at 400 and hit her on the last shot. Ranged at just over 550 and she dropped upon impact. 30-06 semi-auto

Think the real winners of this are our armed forces overseas.

About 130 yards on a whitetail doe. Other than that nothing over 60 yards. They are easier to hit the closer they are. Lol

Funny how all these shots are 450 or 350, amazing the critters don't stand at 453yds or 357, They always are at an even number.

Oryx at 587 yds with a custom 300 wby.
Have hit steels And yotes (yotes not consistently, probably luck) at 800 yds w 22/6mm ai & 5r 308. Have rang the gong at 1200yds with a 50bmg but when it's that much gun and a premier scope it wasn't that hard surpsrisingly after a few clicks and walkin it in.

207 Blackbuck doe. Seems the more I shoot, the farther I can shoot. Odd...... Funny thing is, before I moved to Texas, I had never shot more than 70 yards.
