Went out to the lease for the last few days. Saw 3 doe the whole time. Haven't seen a buck since Thanksgiving. SO...I thought I'd hit the pond and see if the bass were awake. This bad boy was!! I didn't have my scale but we guessed him between 6 and 7 pounds. Nice little fight! Put some excitement in my trip!!

It's down probably 3-4 feet in the last few months. I'm afraid if we don't get some rain this winter this summer ain't gonna be pretty!

Our ponds are about dried up. Nice fish BTW.

If we wouldn't have got that spell of good rain back about September I probably wouldn't have caught him where I did. It was about 3-4 of water. Our lease is like a freaking dust bowl!

Would you believe a $1 spinner bait from walmart?? lol I don't buy the $5 spinner baits. I've caught plenty of fish on them and rarely take my white one off my favorite pole. If I loose it in a tree or stump...oh well...I'm out $1!!
