I'm sure this has been asked before, but I just wanted to check if ducks come down before or after the front?

In my experience I have seen them come down either with the front or 12-24 hours after the front arrived.

unlike cranes that travel during the day, ducks/geese will travel at night with the north wind. When they get to their stop, they need food and water.
I have had lots of great mid morning hunts the mornign after the front comes through. However, I seem to have my best hunts the following morning. I leave my ponds by 8am or so and let the birds find safe refuge on them after everyone in the area is still shooting. They seem to pour in the next morning thinking they have safe passage!
