i shot this guy over the weekend.. i'd been watching him for a few weeks and decided he was ready to go down.. measured 13 1/4"..

Love the chocolate colored antlers.

Great looking buck. Its amazing how close together those G-2's and G-3's grew together.
Having said that, shot placement is key and there is only one level of dead. Us east Texans can't afford turquoise and elk ivories for jewelry. So we use hog tushes and coon peckers.

thanks everyone.. i decided to euro mount this one cause i liked how the horns looked.. right after i shot it, there was a 10 point with it and the 2 does.. i didn't get a good look at it but i'm planning to take my little bro out there so he can use a buck tag to let me get a good look at it..
