I'm hunting in Cotulla this year from the 9-12. It's looking like pretty warm weather. Any outlook on anyone hunting that area would be greatly appreciated.

I manage a ranch 30 miles south of cotulla. I'm seeing scapes and rubs. Also seeing just as many deer moving around in the middle of the day as i do early and late. Suppose to have a cool front come thur first of next week so that should help.

Been slow due to the hot weather. This next front will get them moving. You will definately shoot some hogs though.

In Dimmit county the mature bucks are working and checking their scrape lines. Good norther hitting here Sun eve or Monday. You should do well. Don't forget rattling horns. Stay out of blinds. Still hunt roads and senderos and crack those horns. Good luck.
