it is an albino.....look at the pink nose.
a all white piebald will still have a black nose and black eyes
For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.

All this "he looks young crap....." Ain't a guy here that would not have shot that deer if presented the opportunity. Hell, I would have shot him myself.
CONGRATS on a fine ALBINO once in a LIFETIME KILL! Hope he sells it to CABELA's or BPS and makes a TON OF MONEY for it!

Might be because of that pellet gun he shot it with j/k LOL. And yeah, apparently it's an albino rather than a piebald. the brown on the head was caused by rubbing. This is going to be one nice payday for the shooter.

Haha. You guys make it hard to stick around this forum..Anyone would shoot it. i dont care how cool or "ethical" you are trying to sound. A fawn is prob the only thing off limits in this scenario. Otherwise
"if its white, its down"
That being said I passed on bigfoot because I thought he may grow a few more inches next year.

You guys are a joke with this age crap. It's a freaking albino, I don't care how old it is I'm dropping him. "Hey did you see anything?" "Yeah just an albino eight point but he was young so I let him walk" hahahahah!!! Are you kidding me? I don't think anyone in here said they wouldn't shoot it, they just said he looks young. I am all for letting them live, but I likely would whack him too.

It would be hard to pass up, regardless of age. Once in a lifetime opportunity. X2 But it sure does look really young. i bet if it was a spike everyone on here would have shot it

For the folks that said any hunter on here woulda shot him, not true. We had one on our place in Georgetown 2 years ago. Solid white with a pink nose and normal eyes. We watched and fed him for 3 years before a damn bowhunter on the corp of engineer land shot him and did a stinking euro mount on him. I saw him at the processor and instantly knew it was him and my wife went as far as crying. He was like a pet to us and wa fearless of humans. My goal was to get him to 5 years or full potential and harvest him and do a full body mount. Darn sure didn't go my way but I wouldn't change things a bit. Maybe I'm not the norm but I did not and still would not shoot him if givin a second chance.

I'd make a pretty red spot right behind his young white shoulder.

Like everything in this world it would depend on the situation. At my lease yes I prolly would of shot him but as stated above on my family's land we enjoyed seeing him around. He was the talk of family and friends and the kiddos loved going to see him. You could toss corn out the window and he would eat right next to the truck. I actually found him abandoned by his momma when he could barely walk but left him there cause I figured she'd be back. After 2 days no sign of momma but somehow he survived off of food my wife would take him. After 2 weeks of feeding him he was gone and not seen for 3 months but he returned a healthy fawn but extremely tame which ultimately cost him his life a soon as he hopped the fence looking for some.

I highly doubt they'll pay that and hindsight is 20/20 buddy. Coulda shoulda but didn't. This is not as rare as most would think but is definitely a slim occurrence.

Nobody is paying $100000 for that deer.

From the research I did years ago If my memory serves me correct it is more likely that this was caused by generations of inbreeding and the stars lining up just right. Lol

Lot of albinos roaming the woods these day. never said lots just not enough for anyone to value paying 100k. After all I know I'm not that lucky of a guy to say I e seen the only one in Texas. If I'm not mistaken there was pics of another posted on here last year. Ill see if I can find it. Just because there not in your woods doesn't mean there not out there.
