we seem to have that problem every year, pics of good bucks at night but seem to go under ground during season, my advice is to stay in the stand a little longer and keep huntin staging areas on the way to the food, they will be hitting the food hard in the coming weeks

They will be back later in the year once the does are bred. Of course they will most likely be busted up by then unless of course your neighbors shot them.
How come everybody I meet is a deer hunting expert?

A buck will tracel up to 10 miles for does. So unless you are high fenced they went on another property. Probably shot by now.
Once the rut starts, bucks will chase off othe bucks they consider competition.
Again my guess is all three are dead by now

Again my guess is all three are dead by now I would consider that 10 mile marker much closer to a maximum than an average distance traveled. I know bucks do travel as every year in the rut we get pictures of bucks that we have never seen before and never see again, but we also have a resident herd that never leaves either! matt

Some bucks will wonder around a lot while others are more homebodies. One study of radio collared bucks in south Texas showed one buck made a yearly pilgrimage to an area over 30 miles from its normal home range. Often during the rut you get pics of deer you never had pics of before and never get their pic again.
Good luck with the bucks, those are some nice ones. Hunted one buck for 3 years, he would disappear from the place late Sept or early Oct and not be seen or catch a photo of until around Christmas.

They will be back to protein after the rut. Same thing happens every year.

Almost every year during the rut at least one of them will shoot a buck chasing a doe while they are stripping cotton on that farm. Those dominant bucks will flat out travel during the rut.

Your neighbors are sure glad you spent the money on the protein and sent them bucks across the fence They should be back if they aren't dead.

They do seem to get separated about this time of year; A little on the wall, some in the smoker, most in the freezer .... Trouble is trying to get them back, and together!

If I send my neighbors a text and ask them to give me feedback on my lawn and plant rye into a giant dong pattern, I'm probably going to get some less than positive feedback. Same goes here.

I've observed that they tend to run in little bachelor groups of 2-5 bucks in the off season. Once rut approaches and breeding gets underway, they tend to split up due to dominance fighting among them. once breeding is finished, they will group up again. I would bet you that one of the three is still nearby, but ran off the competing bucks for now. If they haven't been blasted by your neighbors, they'll be back in mid to late January. In my own experience, you can bank on it.
