Finally busted mine so I'm in the market for a new pair....any recommendations? Preferably at Cabelas because that's where I have my gift card to. Thanks in advance.

Just what are you looking for?? A shoe to wear from your house until you get ready to pull on your waders, or a shoe for gunning from the shore?

I use my mud boots from scouting to hunting shallow areas. But I need them to be 18". I looked up those LL Bean and I know exactly what your talking about. Not tall enough but thanks for the idea sir.

I have some under armour muck boots, they're comfy as hell but it's only year 2 and they're falling apart.

Muck Boots, if you want the best and can spend the money.
I crow louder, when I'm far from the nest!

In their defense, last year I probably wore them 5 days a week for everything from duck hunting to climbing through fences, filling feeders, etc.

Bought a pair at academy, 3 years on em so far. They cost me $20 but I believe they are $30 now. Not 18" but they're good.

I personally can't spend a lot of money on boots, no matter what brand or what kind they can all tear and leak. That's just me though.

I got the UA H.A.W 18" boots in the bargin cave in the summer last year wore them all the time to scout and quite a few hunts. Only problem is the sole is falling apart after 1.5 seasons of heavy use. They were $70 in the cave but still wish they lasted longer. UA makes a great product but haven't been to happy with these boots. I will agree they are very comfortable for long hikes and walk in spots.
