Aight first off I am gonna eat a Lil crow bang I have heard talk of cross mule/wt. I have hunted up here since 1997 30+ days a year every year, never seen any sign of it and most the deer claimed to be cross were just Muleys like Kacees that had 8pt rack but the giant wt that Karnis harvest tonight, is in deed a cross. He has wt face, wt rack, white tail, muledeer hair, muledeer chest and the deep tear ducts of a Muley. Talked with warden advised to tag Muley will post up pics when loaded to photobucket. Unbelievable and he had has Muley does herded when he was shot this is a true trophy for him, congrats Karnis!

I have a cousin that used to own a place near Silverton that had both Muleys and WT's on it. He had a rack on the wall that looked like a typical WT on one side (4 points) and a classic Muley on the other - double splits, 4 points no brows. I asked him if the antlers came from the same deer, and he looked at me kind of funny and said "of course." I asked him if it was a muley or whitetail and he said it was a muledeer and left it at that. No biologist ever checked it but the antlers looked like the result of crossbreeding to me.

Yeah I will go back some in December I came home yesterday. Kacee shooting the deer is way too much fun for me to shoot, but if I see a good mgt deer I will take him out.
