Just finished the season with my grandson, he just got him another deer Saturday.
He had a great season 3 deer.

I figure he was about 4.5-5.5, had no bottom teeth at all. The bases were huge.

Wife & I are blessed with four kids.... one son. All married and on their own doing great. wife and I are empty nesters.
Have not had a chance to hunt with my son in three years. Went out early this morning and he bagged a management 7 point. 4.5 year old, 15 " spread. 106 yard shot. 270 with 130 grain hornady sp reloads. dropped like a rock. Hauled him out in the rain on 4wheeler. On the way passed another feeder with 5 hogs feeding. Slipped out the rifle and I shot one with same gun and load at 135 yds. dropped like a rock. Went home and started butchering out of the rain in the barn.
Great morning with my baby boy who has turned into a fine man. Proud papa bragging is all this post is about. Hunt with your kids while you can.
