I was recently discharged after a seven year career as a navy corpsman. My last duty station was in the scenic Olympic Peninsula. I have since taken up shotgun sports and would like to wonder into the world of upland bird hunting. My wife's job has brought us to Amarillo and from my short time here we hope to make it a permanent home. Just wanted to stop by and say hello and possibly meet some fine gentlemen to help hone my "bird" hunting skills. I look foward to this site and all future intersting conversations.

Austin

Welcome Doc I live in Paducah, just south of Amarillo. I go to Amarillo to the VA pretty regular. Look forward to meeting you.

I am a DFW native and my wife drug me to Amarillo, much like I drug her all around the country. I do go home (Cleburne) occasionally and even got to hunt over Thanksgiving. We didnt see anything but it was nice to be out in a blind. I will keep my eye on the forum and also ear to the ground about other opportunities to spread around.
