Not going to tell you what I was told they were growing up as a kid. same thing happened to me with a Brazilian Nut.
It's a wonder I didn't turn out more of a lunatic, but hey, that's Dixie.
On a lighter note, my brother knows a guy who catches catfish under a herd of those things. He cuts open the belly of a catfish, pulls the skin lining from the rib cage, and throws it out with a tiny weight. It comes real close to mimicking a terd squirt from the above birds. Hammers the cats.
The wild life of today is not ours to do with as we please. The original stock was given to us in trust for the benefit both of the present and the future. We must render an accounting of this trust to those who come after us.
