he is a beast and over 30"
i would guess 33" but hard to tell width from the picture

Nice aoudad probably in the 32-33" range but as far as I can tell he's lacking mass a little bit.

He is a very nice ram but has quite some space between his bosses. I bet he will only gain more mass if you gave him some more time. Now if he was a free range ram there would be no doubt about ground checking him!

I would no doubt shoot him!!
out of the Half dozen I have in my trophy room that are all 30-33...this one looks bigger!
I could be wrong...but I usually guess conservative...gonna say 34-35.
I think he has more mass than you guys think, his body is huge and I can see at LEAST 6 age rings just in his last quarter.

I've admitted in the past that I'm not a great judge of Auodad and have never even taken one but I know what I like. Great looking trophy to me. Thanks for sharing the photo. Baker

I think he has more mass than you guys think, his body is huge and I can see at LEAST 6 age rings just in his last quarter. You can fit almost 2 fingers between his bosses, he probably has 12.5in to 13.5 in bases. If that ram had 15inch bases he would be an absolute beast. He's a damn fine ram that would be in that 35inch range or very close to it (what I can tell from the pic). See this ram is right at the 36in mark with 13.5 in bases  And this ram is 35.5inches but has 15.5inch bases, big difference in my opinion

STXranchman...what's Rick's 38's bases? I don't remember, all I that I do know is he was #5 SCI at the time. So he had everything. He killed on last year that made SCI top 10 and had huge mass and I think was 36" in length. I think he has 3 in the top 15 now SCI.

He still looks HUGE to me and would not think twice about shooting him.I like to see those age rings all stacked up in that last quarter no matter what sheep species.
