Ok so the past few times I've checked my camera all I have pics of is a few cows and no deer so I just chalked it up to the many acorns we got. Ok so I hunt this morning and I have ten deer including two nice young bucks both are chasing does and a tally make scrapes right in front of the camera so im excited that I'm getting these pics. The deer stayed in front of the camera for a good ten minutes. So after the hunt I go check my camera and not one pic of any deer from that morning!!! The camera does take my pic twice plus a few cows from the past week!!! So my question is what the heck is the deal??? Batteries are good I changed my card and moved the camera down a foot but I don't get it... Sorry for long read I'm just frustrated

What brand of camera is it? Is there a sensitivity setting?

Make sure you dont have the camera set to high up on the tree. Deer are not near as tall as people think they are. Sounds like its working if you are geting pics of you and cows. Bet you have the angle of the sensor beam set too high.

This ^^^^^^^ also it sounds like a sensitivity issue with the motion sensor. If it is a Cuddeback then that is the problem.

I am with JCB. Andgle down the camera lower to the ground and you should be good to go.

Put a stick in the top of the camera to angle it down.

I've got three WGI cameras and noticed the same thing. Actually watched ( and shot) animals at the feeder and find nothing on camera. Moving, lowering, etc doesn't seem to help.

even if you moved it down you may need to point it down...i have the same one and with it just being a couple feet off the ground i have to put a stick behind the top of it to give it an extra angle

What is your delay between pics set at? If you have a 30 min delay you may see very few pics taken.

lol had the same problem with my primo cam 46. i turned it off all day and then set it higher on the tree angled downward and started getting more pic's. again its really weird cause it took 100's of pic's and then it stoped and now it started again lol

I just bought one of these and it's a P O S, wish I had taken it back when I first cursed it.

I owned a Primos 46 for 2 years and it stopped working. I sent them a letter explaining the trouble and they were gracious enough to send me a brand new one to replace it at no cost.Just in case you decide to go with a different camera.
