I went opening weekend and it was hot. Slow for the deer and I did not see any bucks. The doe looked fat and healthy compared to last year. Thinking about going this week but before the 5 hour trip I would like to see if anybody has seen them start moving. Thanks

We saw a lot of deer activity opening weekend as well. They should be very close to starting. It normally gets real hot around Thanksgiving. Where in Menard county are you?
