Weird, but if it has 2 antlers, it isn't a unihorn.

The Apache Indians on the Arizona Reservations refer to elk with disfigured antlers as "bitch-head bulls". They offer hunts for these elk, some of which are true giants, at a considerable discount from the usual $15-25,000 price they get for their trophy hunts.
Last I heard, the Hualapai Reservation was asking $3000 for such hunts, but that was around 5 years ago.

many years ago, a friend of mine killed a spike elk that had the exact same condition. One normal pedicle, and one that was growing out of the middle of his head just like that. It looked to us like some sort of injury had broken the pedicle off of the skull and shifted it around and it had healed up and reattached. I wondered at the time if he would have dropped the antler and grown progressively bigger ones, and it looks like the answer is a definitive yes!
