Have you tried calling them like you would a coyote? I would think they would at least be curious. Any luck with your traps yesterday?

Old man once told me this hard method slice up some weenies put number 4 trebbel hooks I'm them fry in bacon grease set bole out in area. Tangles there insides up he said. I thought it was a little harsh but so is loosing animals to the stray dogs.

I'm not doing any baiting tactics to handle this. I'm going to have to hunt them. My trouble is I can not be out there all the time with my other farm work we have going right now. Snares are out and I hunt them every chance I get but its not good enough yet.

Well, I have no problem hunting them over a carcass. I have hunters coming in this weekend and I have informed them of the situation. The carcass from what we get this weekend, should give me some fresh bait to use to hunt them again. I have not found anything else they have killed yet on the ranch to hunt over. Hopefully I can get this problem solved by then.

I think Peak makes a product to deal with this, available at AutoZone. Makes a great marinade for chicken livers.
