Anyone seen/heard of a BMC used as a bird dog (retriever, flusher, etc)?

I've never seen it. A black mouth cur is a versatile dog. You can train it to do what ever you wish. I've seen youtube videos of people quail hunting with Dachshunds.

Ours loves birds, just doesn't like water, so no ducks...
Wishing I was fishing...

We used them for coon huntin, ours was bad to fight at the bottom of the tree, if you didn't get there fast enough. Some of the best dogs I ever had.
I crow louder, when I'm far from the nest!
