Nshotput where are you located. If your in Fort hood I have plenty of places forty to fifty miles north on private. Just PM me sometime if you are interested. Ill be home every weekend of duck season and would love to put you on some birds.

Thanks again for all of the replies and PM's everyone. I have to say that this is one of the more hunter friendly states that I have been in so far. I don't know of any other state that give military a free hunting license. Most places will allow you to buy a license at resident price but here in the great state of texas it is free. That being said I guess I was just being cheap and trying to figure out if I was even going to buy a duck stamp and a permit. Living in Converse I don't want to have to drive three hours one way to duck hunt.
