Does anyone have one of these yet? What do you think of it?

I'm curious as to the nay-sayers. Why would you not want to try it and how could you hate a gun you have never shot? The old A5 was revolutionary in it's day.

Here is what I like about the gun after almost a full dove season, teal season and first of big ducks:
1) It just looks awesome! Love that old humpback!!
2) Easiest gun I have ever found to custom fit to how you shoulder your gun and what you want your sight line to be. In a matter of about 10 minutes I had it shouldering like I had owned it my entire life. First time out I shout about 90% on skeet.
3) Have yet to have a malfunction. I hunted all of dove and teal without cleaning the gun (after the initial cleaning of course). I did it because I wanted to test its tolerance for being dirty (my Beretta AL391 could only go two hunts without a thorough cleaning or it would malfunction). The gun never failed once (there was one time it did fail to eject a shell fully but that was because I was swinging on a bird behind me and did not have it solid against my shoulder - user, not equipment error).
4) Ease of cleaning - the one time that I have cleaned this gun after hunting (between teal and big ducks) it was about a ten minute job and that included barrel, receiver, trigger assembly and bolt assembly.
I'm telling you this is the best gun I have ever shot!
So what are the downsides?
1) It is inertia driven so it kicks more than a gas powered gun - but if that is what keeps you from getting one make sure and pick up some fingernail polish on your way home from the gun store so you can look pretty for the men that you hunt with!
2) They did not have a low gloss wood alternative in this first release of guns. The only way to get the wood stock was to buy it with the high gloss receiver - so I bought the black and will buy a replacement stock and forearm in wood when they come out - strip them down, soak them in oil and you are ready to roll old-school!
As you can see I am a HUGE fan of the new A5 - Browning did everything right with this gun!!

Killemboys, where did you buy your gun at and if you don't mind me asking, how much was it? Love the fingernail polish remark. My other waterfowl gun is a BPS 10 gauge so I think I can handle the recoil.

The haters do not like the fact that besides the shape of the receiver, it shares nothing in common with the old A-5. The A-5 in the name is marketing hyperbole.
I'm not saying the new A-5 is not a good shotgun, from the reviews I have read it appears quite capable. However, the internals are nothing like the old A-5. If they called it an A-6 to clearly indicate a new model, the haters would not have anything to hate.

From what I have read, Binelli borrowed a lot of technology from the A5 and improved on it. Now the patent on Binelli's modifications has expired and Browning is improving on what Binelli has done and incorporated it into the A5. I don't know how true that that is but that is what I read.

what you read is wrong
the original auto 5 was a long recoil operated shotgun (barrel moves back to work the action)
the only long recoil gun on the market is the the Franchi AL48
benellis and the new A5 ar short recoil operated

My biggest problem with it is that the humps not deep enough and that they didn't stick with the old recoil system. I love hearing all the mechanical stuff going on with the old system when I pull the trigger.

I got mine from Cabela's for about $1400. They are in such high demand that you can't order one or reserve one; I just happen to be there when they were taking one off the truck - I even had to stand there while they logged it into their system before I could buy it.
