Still looking to get my first goose/geese. Never shot one of any species.

I've shot all of the "good ducks."

If I can put you on the birds can we split the pot?

You beat me to it.

A BWT, Pintail, Canvasback, and Widgeon are at the top of my list with all the usual suspects behind them. These guys are at the top because I have never harvested any of them ......ever.....

In the last few years I've shot Mallards, Pintails, GWT, Gadwall, Widgeon, Wood ducks, Ring Necks, Spoonies, Scaup...last year got my first Can and this year got my first BWT. Still want a Redhead, Cinny and a goose.

We had a group of 4 Woody drakes come in Sunday and none left on a public lake. That was cool.

On a different note...how long is too long to have a bird in the freezer waiting to have mounted?

Love to Cast and Blast

Freeze the bird in a ziplock full of water and its good for yrs. I skin all my birds and freeze in water. I have taken out 8-10 yr old birds that are as good as new.
