Got in the stand 20 mins ago. Wind is howling here. Hopefully something will be moving before the front comes in. I am the only one on our place to go out this morning.

Shot a small hog and saw no deer. This is the windiest I've ever seen here! My antennae keeps
blowing over and the Aggies are about to play!!
I'll watch for an hour before heading out.

Wind sucked, I packed it in after morning hunt in Murray. Saw nothing and actually heard not one shot. Way too windy, probably consistently blowing 25-35, gusting to 40. I did have some nice buck pics over the past 2 weeks. Also, on the drive down this morning, saw a really nice buck around 4:30 just east of Runaway Bay on 114, where the white wood fence is before Lake Brideport. He was right next to the road walking, kind of shocked me, looked like a very tall 10pt. or so.

just wait when all that wind comes to a halt by Monday. Coupled with the cold the deer ought to be out everywhere. Shoulde be really good Monday/Tuesday.

Very unpredictable here. Saw 11 deer, about 15 hogs & close to 40 turkey yesterday. Nada so far
today.

Agreed Mike, should be the perfect formulas for the older ones to start going. I see no evidence that they are yet.

Back at this morning. Different stand so far calm winds and already saw 3 doe. Should be a good morning.

Good luck. I did not post this past week only updated a couple of Woodson guys on PM.

Saw no chasing. 8 bucks and 4 does in 2.5 days. Early and late game. Hope that changes back out next week for Turkey day but heck it looks to be in the 70's. No bueno.

Ended the night seeing 4 bucks. 1 mature shooter the other 3 were young 2-3 year old but all were outside the ears 8 point or better one was a 11
