 Need deer hunt

Guides and/or landowners:
I have a friend coming into town and wanting to deer hunt on dec. 7,8,and 9th. His max that he is able to spend is $1000, but would like to keep it closer to $700-$800 if possible.
He isn't looking for a huge buck, and would be content with shooting a management buck, and a doe or two if you need to thin the herd. He has never shot a deer, despite all of his efforts (California is a lot tougher deer hunting), and wants to come here to try. We both have degrees in Wildlife management, and know the importance of herd management, and will respect whatever management you are employing.
It doesn't need to be guided, but would be nice. If 2 people are needed for this to work, I(or my wife) would join in on the hunt as well.

Oh yea- and Our location is Fort worth, so within 3 hours would be great if possible.
