Went to the lease this evening the wind was right and it was just to pretty out to pass up on Bow Hunting I've killed several pigs with a bow but this was the first opportunity to let a arrow fly at a deer and what a rush it is I was just about as excited as if I shot a big buck with a rifle she only ran about 35 yes didn't even have to blood trail her

I got into bow hunting a few years ago and decked out a Mathews drenalin lost my lease and got out of bow hunting until this year I have two kids now so my dad gave me his old pse nova using aluminum arrows and 125gr 4 blade muzzy's they aren't fancy but they are lethal, not to say I didn't wish I had a $1200 bow but using a hand me down and being successful makes it that much sweeter

Another funny thing is as I'm sure a lot of you know when you have kids you save money wherever possible so instead of taking my four wheeler and truck to the lease most times I take my car with a body bag just in case lol

i team rope as a hobby(im not very good). i have the ugliest oldest trailer so when i show up for a jackpot there arent any expectations for me.

great shot and congrats. will be going out early in the morning looking for my first bow kill too.
If I send my neighbors a text and ask them to give me feedback on my lawn and plant rye into a giant dong pattern, I'm probably going to get some less than positive feedback. Same goes here.
