We have actually killed about 7-8 in the past 3 years and we are just north west of Archer City near Holliday. We got one Friday night and saw another one that same evening.

I have killed one every year for the past 3 years at my ranch which is 18 miles north of Freer.

Question:

Why kill javelina?

I've eaten one and decided that it would be the last, and to top it off they seem really stupid. It's like they've gotten by on being smelly critters with tusks that are horrible to eat for millions of years.
