I posted this in the land and lease section as well. Not sure about the rules but I thought more people might see it here.
Anyone have anything available next week? Had a hunt set up for my step father and I in Junction for a couple of does on 11-14 / 11-15, got the vacation time off work and the ok from the wife and found out that the L.O. on the place we have hunted for 20 years passed away and the kids say no more lease. Not looking for a handout just a reasonably priced hunt to fill up the freezer. Step dad will be hunting with a 30-06 and I can either bow hunt or shoot my 7mm-08. Prefer the bow if possible. Anywhere between Houston, San Antonio and Austin would work. Thanks for the help guys.
Shawn
Shoot low boys, they're riding shetland ponies! Lewis Grizzard I was actually laughing at myself at how little self control I have.
Let a nice rack walk into range and I lose it.

Give 3 fingers bow hunting a call and talk to ben, he may have spots open and its bow only. You will see alot of game and get shots for sure.

Thanks for the info but step dad doesn't bow hunt. He's 73 and too old to teach new tricks.

Come on out to the Sonora area and we have some does that need thinning. $200 a day includes a doe and $200 each additional doe. Free hogs.

I wanted to thank everyone for the offers. My dad found us a place that I have hunted before in Kendalia. Didn't really want to go that route, but he saw my post on here and insisted I use his bosses ranch. Didn't want to ask him for a place for my step-dad to hunt but I guess it worked out. I do really appreciate the offers that I got. Now if I could just find a new lease for next year.
