"Underwoods BBQ" it's not real barbecue (pressure cooked), but I do like to eat there about every five years or so. Sausage, CFS, fried chicken are good. All you can eat sides and cobblers. The rolls are excellent, but it's not barbecue.

In Brownwood/Early try Prima Pasta for some good Italian food as well as a very good rib-eye.

Ate at Underwoods about 5 years ago and ended up with a case of the squirts that I'm still not quite over.

X2 on Diamond R. Some of the best food in this area. And yes Prima Pasta cooks an excellent steak. I know its an italian food place but their steaks are great.

Humphrey Pete's for food and drinks. Studebakers for breakfast. I spent several months working in B-wood.

Agree on Underwoods being nasty. However, I do have to hand it to them on their effective marketing plan because they place is full allot.

Lonesome Dove is good but Diamond R is better. If Jeff is cooking fish in the kitchen, you won't find better fish in the area.

Everything I have tried at Diamond R has been excellent. I need to work up the nerve to try the tripple meat, tripple cheese burger.
