Still too hot, majority of deer activity at night per trail cams. Good scape activity, but again cams show all activity at night. I suspect by weeks end when the cold front get here it could change things for the better.

How come everybody I meet is a deer hunting expert?

In Clay county this am it was quiet and calm. About 47 degrees according to the weather channel but felt a little warmer than that (could have been excitement keeping me warm too). Did not see anything other than cows though. The cows left just before sunrise, about 20 minutes into legal shooting time, so that may have kept the animals away.

Now we are seeing some decent wind, approx 10-15 out of the north. I am hoping this small low pressure system coming in will get the deer moving more. I know they are here, had 963 pics on the one game cam we sat by this am, I have to guess most of the activity is still nocturnal though.

Will be here all day, so I am hoping to see something come around.
