Like the subject says, I'm going to go deer hunting for the first time....any advice?

Make sure your rifle is on. Know your limits. Have a range finder, if not use whats around ie: that rock is 50yds, that cactus is 90. Breathe, don't rush the shot. Show up early, leave late, be quiet. Keep your eyes peeled and stay awake.

Focus on the shot placement, don't rush and squeeze the trigger. If it doesn't feel right, don't shoot.
