Both buddies overslept on the 2nd freeking day of the season...
Makes my work load double if not triple.
Payback SUX boys, I'm gunna go kill my 6 birds and hope y'all pee the bed...

this is how i seperate friends i hunt with, with friends i dont.
I like spoonie, his humor is dryer than my duck lease.

I hunt solo most of the time now since my son is off at college but it sure would be nice to have someone help me tote in all that gear when I finally get to start my season......hopefully I will be switching over to a trolling motor powered 14 foot jon boat by mid season and then about tax time that boat is going to get "Power by Copperhead" I just haven't figured out which unit yet.....

Your hunting buds must be related to mine. I was to hunt with a friend of mine at his lease till he calls me at 8:00 Friday to tell me he cant go out for opening day. I told him thanks for waiting till 8PM the night before. Said he meant to call that AM but Forgot.

I got a rule. If you aint ready, you get left behind. If you ever get left behind, you don't get re-invited. There is a choice everyone must make. I am either going to be a serious duck hunter or a serious boozer. Pick one and do one of them well. I have left family members behind with no regrets. If you aint family it is even easier to just leave you behind. Being late to a duck hunt is tops on the poop can list.
