I had two great guys and a good number of birds not as many mallards as I would have liked but hey its early, they shot well and knocked out 2 limits with a mixed bag (mallards,widgon,gads,and red heads we seen a ton of birds so its lookn good for now hope all you guys had a safe and good hunt because its not about the kill but what the good lord has created for us to enjoy.....

I don't know if you know this but mallards are not really a big thing in November in Texas.

You do take what you get early in the season but mallards are my favorite,plus they put on the best show when they work the decs just my opinion
