Earlier I had this site up with the pic of the most awesome(to me) boat, that I just purchased used. And the Wifey walks by and say, "Is that the boat you bought"? She was none to impressed and sensed alittle pissed !! HAHAHa

She not into my huntng and fishing to much and its always funny how she reacts.
Anyone else with this kinda wife or you all have the understanding, either wanna join ya, or just whatever as long as it keep you occuppied

Mine loves to hunt and do a little fishing

Mine looks at it as a 3 month vacation from me.

She does grow tired of her office being turned into hunting central for all my gear, but she doesn't say anything to me. Now that the daughter is full blown duck chaser, she might actually put her foot down.

I wish mine wasnt so involved in my hunting sometimes.

mine does not care for hunting at all. She will not go...and i like it that way. She loves to do just about everything else i do like rock and ice climbing, backpacking, wakeboarding, mountain biking, and scuba diving....so hunting is what i get to go do alone.

She is however... understanding and does not care when I go.

Right! Now I can't buy anything without her going "Why didn't I get new camo", :Why didn't I get a new gun" Plug in any Why did't I scenario and I've heard it. Hunting got real expensive after I got her hooked on it. I didn't dee that one coming.

My girl fishes with me a lot but has not desire to hunt as of right now. She's more of a warm weather fan. She doesn't care when I go

My wife is half hispanic and half Irish! I aint about to tell her to shut up. Bring me a sandwich, maybe. Shut up, not going to happen.

Wife won't even talk about hunting, she grew up in a family that never hunted, they weren't anti-hunting, just didn't do it. I used to take her practicing with me on the weekends when I was tournament fishing and she liked that, but like most guys she kicked my butt every time she got in the boat with me. The sad part about it was I bought her a good Falcon worm rod and top of the line Quantum reel and I'd rig it up with a 1/8 oz. weight with a Texas rigged 7" ribbon tail worm. She'd sit at the driver's console reading a book and just drag the worm behind the boat and wear my butt out doing that.

As long as I use my money she doesnt complain but once I dip into hers (ours) the broom comes out and the witch takes flight...

Mine got hooked on Duck Dynasty and now tries to improve my hunting from what she learns on the show...and when she does

Mine fishes and hunts, she doesn't mind, especially when I tell her it's for the kids

Mine is right on the edge. Knew coming in that Sept through Feb that I was gonna be tough to get ahold of. She got to watch me for 5 years before we got married. Shes been with me a few times, but this year has decided to jump in headfirst. Also wants a deer. Shes been my fishing partner for a while, we used to fish couples tournaments. Never did mind bringing her along, and still got ky alone time when I need it.

We'll see what happens this season.

Mine doesn't care what I do. I will admit, I love boats...I've got quite the collection, she doesn't understand that and I get some lip and funny faces but it's all good. I don't understand having as many shoes as she does.

As far as hunting goes, she doesn't care. Her dad has been hunting his whole life and so has her brother. She understands, even goes a few times a year to just watch. I'm thankful

My wife bought our boat for us to use fishing; next day I painted it camo while she was at work and wired lights in it. Made it a rigged out duck boat. Bri came home and began telling me stories of her duck hunting with her dad when she was younger.

She usually goes when when I head out solo. Some of the best hunts I have had.

^^^ This. The only thing my wife doesn't like is that the guest bedroom turns into hunting central....guns, ammo, gear bags, camo, maps and dekes

I took mine duck hunting once, she LOVED it... But she likes to deer hunt more. She didn't turn down the idea of me buying a new boat.. she ended up getting a new car a week later so it balanced out.
