I would appreciate any info on the rules or rule changes for the legal taking of Oryx from my ranch for meat purposes

You need to get a permit, but a private ranch cull, is a lot easier to get then the permit need to sell hunts.

for every stereotype there's a prototype don't be the prototype

Why don't you just shoot, shovel, and shut up if its your own land. I don't understand this ban thing. The globalists can KMA.

^^^ Bad advice IMO. I may not agree with the laws either, but we're never going to get them changed if we break them out of spite.

Get the captive breeder permit. It really isn't that difficult to obtain, it just takes several months to process.

Agree 100%
It's not that hard to get the permits.

I went to the meeting in Kerrville about the 3 species. I thought that if they were yours and you were not selling them you could dispose of them in any way. Shoot, quit feeding them and let them starve, etc.

Not true at all, no matter what you have to have a permit to shoot one but if it dies of natural causes or while in transport its ok. Law states its legal to live sale haul and transport inside the same state but not harvest or kill with out a permit what so ever.
