Any one hunting here in Jacksonvill Tx? If so have yall been seeing any deer in the day light or just all at dark.

I hunt half way between Jacksonville and Henderson. Have been seeing quite a few deer in the last hour of light and some in the morning too. Evenings seem to be better right now though. Still have not seen a mature buck in the daylight but I heard a pretty good buck fight Monday evening in the woods behind me.

I have a lease just south of J'ville, all the bucks are showing up at night on trails. Feeders are not being hit due to acrons falling.

Im west of Jacksonville on the river. Does are running in the morning and evenings. A couple of small bucks in the evenings.

Hunting southeast of Jacksonville, opening weekend was washed out. Last weekend was a little better, no bucks but we saw around 13 doe's early morning. I'll be there early Saturday to give it another go.....

1 doe with a bow southeast of jacksonville and watched a mature buck in 140s for 30 mins

We have some land in between Jacksonville and Henderson we hunt on in Good Springs. I had a camera up in a spot that was really hot last year and had not a single deer anywhere on camera. I was pretty dissapointed in that. If yall have a facebook, check out Roger Raglin's facebook page. He posted a picture of a Monater buck somebody killed in Henderson.

I have been seeing them chase quite a bit over the past few days, but mainly young bucks. Haven't really seen many mature bucks chasing yet.
