If you want some friendly advice, get a haircut and take a bath. You wouldn't get hassled so much.

Upload them to photobucket and post them on here so we don't have to go to another site to view them.

This is in eastern Duval County. I think these two might be two button bucks from last year. I'm also guessing 2.5 y/o. They never appeared on camera or in person until September.

2 on the 10 point and the 8 point is much larger bodied so he is at least 3 or even 4.

Both are WAY to young to shoot.

definitely 2.5 with the exception of the closer deer in the bottom pic and the 8 point in the 3rd pic. they look like they could be 3.5.

I agree. I'm pretty sure we won't be shooting either of these bucks. I'm not sure if either will amount to much, but we don't have a large number of deer on our little place, so we need to find out if they will get better. We really don't have huge bucks on the ranch (nothing bigger than probably 120s), so these are our future.

id rather have potential like that and not shoot a deer for a few years then having old scrubs to shoot every year... keep the pressure low and take your does....looks like you are sittin on a gold mine

I sure hope you're right. As long as we try, I think we'll be alright.

Let em walk, and grow, and hope neighbors do the same. Even if neighbors would shoot, they might not get the chance, and you KNOW they won't mature if you shoot them. I am facing similar circumstances in Coke County...

Good luck!

That is my biggest concern....the neighbors. But you're right. We have to take a chance with them.

Have you tried to contact your neighbors? We were able to talk to ours and had some success. We at least got to see where they stood on management ideas. Just a suggestion.

I agree with the guys..I saw an adv. in a mag. at the Doc's ofc
this AM that showed how to age animals ect as well as the chart
on the jaw bones..It would be helpful to folks just starting out.
Usually an immature face, smaller body..not distended in the stomach or flank areas, ect means it's a younger deer..If mature
you should see a somewhat "Roman Nose", sunk in flanks, belly as
they age..kinda like us old guys..DD

I saw the two bucks about 200 yards from my feeder. They were with a doe. One of them definitely had a bigger rack. I wish they would've come closer so I could get a better look at them. A coyote was weaving his way in and out of the sendero, approaching them as they ate corn.
