Gonna leave tonite to hunt a few days in mcmullen county.

Should I take my old tried and true, always faithful .270......OR....my new 7mmwsm model 70 that I've never killed anything with?

I feel like by taking the 7mm, I'm cheating on a spouse that has always been there for me. But, the 7mm is pretty good looking

advice?

For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.

Take 'em both. Always take a backup. Your primary weapon should be where your faith lies.

Out with the old, in with the new. I'd have to justify my purchase by killing something with it. Polygamy is legal with firearms.

I'd use the 7mm just because you haven't drawn blood with it yet.

I am always juggling 3-4 at a time and I get bored and go find a new one mid season. Once I think I found "the one" something better comes along.

If you've shot the 7 enough to feel comfortable making good shot placement take it and make it officially part of the family.

BOTH AND bloody the 7mm im doing the same thing and did it in MAY on my axis, just too many guns to go around so I make sure they all get a turn and after first blood go back to ol faithfull 270, but im really comfortable shooting most of my guns
