It's youth hunting weekend, bowhunters. I hunt public so I'm packing in some orange for the walk out just to be safe. Good luck to yall and the kiddos.

General season you got to wear it at all times. If I'm wrong, somebody correct me since I don't hunt public, except for turkey season.

You must wear Orange on Pub Land anytime there is a gun season. such as now with turkey and squirrel and youth season. if it was BOW ONLY and no guns allowed you do not have to wear orange.

My understanding is it is only required during a firearms season. I was only making a suggestion to wear during bow as it coincided with the youth weekend. Never hurts to be safe.

It is required during firearm season where I hunt, but they do not say deer firearm season. Dove season has been going on since Sept 1 so to me that means I must wear orange. It only helps you to wear orange. It doesn't hurt anything.

It only helps you to wear orange. It doesn't hurt anything. I know on Corps land it is not required for migratory bird hunters
