Well went to the lease last night, and pulled the cards from the cameras. Looks like the big boys are fighting it out.
Got some pics of a decent 8 and another going at it pretty good.
This is out in Palo Pinto. Looks like these 2 were really going at it.
It also looks like the little spike in the last pic can't compete with the big guys and has been seen on a regular basis at the feeder during early morning and early evening hours. Thinking of taking the kid out in the morning, and hope we see him.
Sorry about the grainy photos, looks like my good cam had the batteries crap out, and the grass has grown up quite a bit since my last visit, but at least you all can see what I am talking about.

There fighting good in Leon county this am, dad sat in the stad till 9 and saw 2 fights and one good 8 come in and run the show for about 5 minutes. He said it was as good of a fight as hes ever seen in STX.

Yes sir hes just looking and ready for next weekend, he said hes glad im at work cause the big 8 came within 10 yards of my bow blind and I would have had alot of shot ops this am on him LOL. Go figure, Oh well my tags are spoken for anyways. Hope dad gets him next weekend.

We own a place there about 4 miles south of Buffalo off 75 and a private road, its mostly HF with elk axis etc and then some property we own thats not fenced is in the bliss creek bottom and I bow hunt it and dad gun hunts it but he really carries a gun to shoot yotes or pigs, I have to talk him into shooting deer but next weekend if I can make it from work to the house there before he heads out Ill be in the stand with him and my son so something is going to die LOL.

Ok, I was just curious, not trying to get into your buisness. We have a large ranch just south east of buffalo on bliss and buffalo creek and was curious if you were on of the hunters that we lease to.

No sir, but no problem. I am looking for a lease close to me for my kid to hunt next year, we dont have alot of property thats not H-Fenced and we dont hunt in our fence for us, just a rule we did to keep me from shooting my money up LOL.
