If you have an old tripod you're not using, put it up right on the other side of the fence from him.

Just find you a porta potty and set it next to his tripod on your side of the fence. I'd make sure and use it on the way to your stand and out every time I hunt.

The only shot he has on his side is fence line. He's got plenty to shoot at on the other side...just venting I guess but still pissed.

Leave him a bill for his half of the food plot and feeder bill.

I had the same problem once and visited with the GW about it. He said there was nothing I could do about the tripod being close to my fence, even though most of his shooting lane was MY property. i was also informed by the GW that if I was to happen to be "working my side of the fenceline" while my neighbor was hunting, I would be ticketed/fined for disturbing his hunt. The law favors your neighbor on this one, only until he decides to cross that fence.

our neighbor did the same thing many years ago. he was a turd.... guy got kicked off that lease for shooting an out of season animal and the box blind disappeared like magic.

Could be the case. But I like the hidden trail cam idea to keep an eye on any fence hopping.

This is a tough and sore subject, but being a land owner myself, I didn't buy 200 acres to only hunt 100 of them. As long as he stays on his side and doesn't fire across the line, he is 100% ok. Still think he is a DB for setting up on your plot.....but, he might think you are a DB for putting a plot on the edge of his bedding area. Maybe you all can get together and talk it out. You never know...

I would post No Trespassing signs all along your property line, then install a game cam or two.

IDK if you know this, but in Texas we don't need any no trespassing signs. It's kind of an understood thing here.

Nope, didn't know that. Here, the property generally is posted, then the trespasser needs to be warned one time by the police or in the presence of the police, and then if it occurs again, they can be arrested.
