This guy has put up a tripod on the fence that over looks nothing on his side and a food plot on ours. Guess who's gonna be sitting there smoking cigs opening day???

sorry about that, I just wanted to see what ya'll had coming to the field grin

seriously, that blows, and I'd be ticked as well. I'd go talk to them, find out where their head was, and help them remove it

There used to be a guy on the lease next door who did the same thing. Every time he shot a deer, he would get out and literally scream, "Yee Haw." Gotta love neighbors.

I have a funny feeling that the deer will not walk that fence much this year.

That's crazy, why would you make it so obvious where your hunting with the limited view around you?

Oh he can see plenty of wheat and a feeder, on the wrong side of the fence.

We have a neighbor that has maybe 35 acres that's thick with a 29 yard strip next to our fence. If you count the old mess in the trees they have 7 stands in 350 yards. All overlook our 200 acre hay field. Three are 4by6 box stands on the ground. What a jerk. We get the local barber to save up a box of hair. We'll fertilize that fence row next Friday.

We used to have a neighbor like this. We made this area our "gut pile", hogs, deer, coyotes, etc... His was a double bull pop up that he actually had tied down to the fence. Once it was soaked in blood and guts, he got the message and moved it.

How come everybody I meet is a deer hunting expert?

I suggest hiding some game cameras on your side of the fence to catch him if he is shooting game on your property or retrieving game on your property without permission. If so, he is in big trouble with local GW.

That sux, but that's why I'd never put a feeder or a food plot close enough to the fence for the neighbor to see it.

As long as he shoots on his side and stays on his side there is nothing you can do. So chill. That's gonna happen at times.

I'd shoot a hog, drag it up by his stand (on my side) and leave it in a shady spot. It'll stink so bad that he won't be able to stand sitting there.

Your side looks like a good spot to put up a big old box blind adjacent to his tri-pod on 10 ft base with no windows facing his side and then cruise in on a 4 wheeler every morning & park under it..........

On the other hand could the deer be bedding on his property and crossing the fence to get to your plot?

Ha, he could be over there saying... "dang neighbor, put a food plot right on the fence line, I'll show him and set a tripod right there." Somebody check the TBH forum and see if someone is complaining about neighbor who put a food plot right on the fence. nidea rofl
