So wanted a change my rifle so I dipped it, came out great if you are in the Fort Worth area check out Texas Made Hydrodipping they are in Granbury.

Why did you only dip the stock?

I'd have done the barrel, action, scope, mount, rings...the whole enchilada...

It's $85 for just the stock, I didn't want to do the whole thing cause that would be to much camp and $. I like the way it turned out, might do the scope and rings at a later date but will most likely leave her the way she is. Ole Guinevere is ready to bark.

I have a hard time finding my gun as it is. If i lay something like that down in the woods I'll be at the gunshop on monday.

I took it apart, 2 screws to remove the bolt and barrel and 2 screws to remove the shoulder pad, and unscrewed my sling. But the was the savage logo on the bottom I couldn't figure out how to take it off so they must have taken it off or taped over it.
