My father in law bought my 11 yr old son a cross bow. He is having a blast with it. Getting better everyday. He is hoping to get a shot at a hog or doe this weekend. He is pretty good out to about 20 yards. After shooting for about an hour today he said dad get the camera and take some pictures so you can post on THF. LOL

His last 3 shots for today at 20 yards. He was trying to shoot the bull eye of each of the 3 targets across the middle. Almost got all of them.

Its kinda hard to not see the house across the street. The house is empty and has been for a year.. We can not shoot in the back yard anymore because my neibor lets his horses run around back there.. I do not live in the city the house across the road from us is 125 yards away and like i said IT IS EMPTY NO ONE LIVES THERE...

You could move the target 20 yards to the left and teach him to always be aware of the target and whats beyond it.

He understands that he has been shooting his rifle for 3 years... Sometimes you can not win around here. If i ever post a picture of him shooting his rifle in the front yard with the house in the back you can give me a lecture then... I have buddies that live in Rockwall that shoot there bows in there front yard with houses 100 feet away.. I do not agree with that because of safety.... ITS AN EMPTY FREAKING HOUSE

What poundage is his crossbow? I have an 11 year old and thats what he is wanting for Xmas. He can almost pull my 175lb horton back, but my cams wont turn fast enough for his short pull.

Lovin this weather!!!
