EDIT: FORGET THE AR....FOCUS ON AGE Some rule changes at Camp Bullis this year... Don't care what this guy scores just wonder age

just trying to confirm my thinking....
I am going to talk to the wildlife folks out there about this guy because I don't think he make 13", but he needs to be taken out of the gene pool....
Not asking b/c I don't know...just wanted others opinions...if you don't have one...don't respond

Mature buck. I've been trying to get better and looking at a lot of aging on the hoof articles/pics. I'm gonna go with 4.5 b/c his belly is full and his legs look shorter/awkward for his body b/c of it. Waist, belly, and chest all together. Little dip in the back, but not too much. Some articles also said hardly any free range buck makes it to 5+ yrs old.

My opinion is that this buck is 5.5+
I agree, he needs killing.

With only one good pic(3rd) of the buck(without his hair standing/fluffed up) and none in color it is hard to really tell. My impression are he is post mature 7+ and he is for sure 5+ on age. He is very thick in the brisket and shoulders showing mature age+. Body is full but he is not showing much muscle in hindquarters which makes him either 5 or 7 IMO. He has calloused knees in the visable in the 3rd pic. First 3 pics he looks 7+ and last one he looks 5.  I need some color pics to see for sure to make a better estimate.

I agree, a post mature buck. I bet he's 7.5, and is on the decline. Nice trophy, survived a long time!

I don't have any color of him...as this is the first time I've seen him to date. All night pics...I will thumb through to see if there are anymore close to #3.
