Just dont want to drive that far without any plans on where to go. I'm gonna include my email to contact me or to share any info you could pass along please do not abuse it thank you, Dale

Well Dale, you need to line up an outfitter or guide or ranch from the Outfitters & Guides section and then come and hunt. There's not much public land in Texas, so private land is just about your only choice. Most ranchers won't let you hunt for free. However, hog hunts are generally pretty cheap.

Good luck.

Hey Minnesota... well you need to do what I have done. I leave minn. right after deer season, pack my bags & guns, and head for the texas gulf. The heck with those below zero temps & 2 feet of ice snow. While you are shoveling and shivering, I'm fishin' n shooting hogs, ducks, and exotics! Oh, I almost forgot, gorging myself on gulf shrimp & oysters.

I lived in MN for 16 years the problem is most people live in the city's and most people there are left wingers and that's where most of the votes are, plus unions through out the state. I know what you mean with all the sportsmen there you would think it would be red state. Only part that sucked about MN, but now I live in TX. took me 52 years but I made it.

Good question Big Daddy. Like Bassdeer said, nearly 2/3 of our population lives in metro areas. Minnesota, with a population of 5.35 million, has most of there liberal voters living in the Twin Cities metro area (3 million), add Rochester, St. Cloud, Duluth and you get a left sided vote. Even with a 83% non-hispanic white population (5.5% black), we still end up with a clown like Al Franken.

I am a gun toting, right sided, conservative though!

If my name was djones, I would be all over this. The guy can put some serious hurt on hogs.
