been working on a blind, it's made of t posts and net wire with some burlap and switch cane.

only problem is I'm about out of water. this thing should be sitting in 2 feet of water and hopefully will be before the first split is over

what did you do for a floor?
It wont take but a couple of hunts to turn that mud bottom into a pit. Might consider anchoring pallets down.

no floor, it will be flooded and we will be sitting in water. Pallets would be a broken leg just waiting to happen when they slick over

I build one on this place every year, we just make do

I didn't take any inside, but it is basicly short fence in the front and a taller fence in the back with a little bow top roof. It's about 6 feet from front to back and it is nearly 30 feet long. Built to hide 6 hunters

I used some long plastic pipe for bows and a black dog kennel cover for the roof and brushed over that.

it is too far from the water right now, but I will use layouts until the water comes up

Use to build them out of chicken wire and posts and broom weed. Best blind is one made out of native materials. Ducks would almost land on our heads in that blind.

I would be worried about that turning into a pit of mud that pulls your waders off without a floor of some sort.

yes, I'm sure it will never work. I don't know why I keep building blinds on this hole.
