What say you? Best all purpose pocket folder out there? I've had a Benchmade for years, but is really hard to sharpen. Also carried a Spyderco, but blade was too flimsy and chipped. What is your best everyday carry?

Was a fan of.Moore maker...but quality has gone down...

I carry a benchmade as well. Just send it to them once a year for service and they sharpen it too.

I like Kershaw knives they hold an edge very well.
Agree with Bobo on Moore maker they have been sliding down.
I bought my dad a nice CRKT folder that was similar to his Moore Maker and he really likes it and says it keeps an edge really well and sharpens back up with ease.

Case, Buck, or whatever is in my pocket. The real trick is knowing how to sharpen.

I have a Gerber that I bought at WalMart. It has a skeletonized metal body and is the larger of the two options of that knife. I've had it for several years now and it's a fine knife. It didn't cost much, relatively speaking - maybe $25 or so. Holds a good edge and is just my general use pocket knife, though I started using it for deer skinning last season. I've got more expensive knives, but this one is rather flat and not too bulky in my pocket. It sharpens easy enough, and I use DMT diamond plates for sharpening, which are really fast.

I've used CRKT knives for hiking/camping for a while now and they have been great. I have not, however, used them for deer so I can't comment on that.

dee, certainly agree about quality of metal. And, an awful lot of newer knives are suspect.

Emerson is a very good knife and the wave feature makes it even better I carry the cqc 8 and would not leave home without it. The wave feature is a small hook near the thumb stud and if you draw it back when pulling from your pocket it opens the blade so you are ready to go.
