Anyone have any experience with this gun? I have been exploring options with regard to a concealed carry gun. Beretta Tomcat .32, Keltech .32, etc. I have pretty much resigned myself to not carry a fanny pack and get something small enough to carry in a pocket or an inside the belt type holster. This decision also limited me on caliber. I had resigned to one of the two above mentioned guns when someone pointed out the Ruger .380 LCP. It looked like a great size, comparable to the tomcat and KT, but was just a little larger on the caliber. Okay I thought, the perfect combination of everything. Then they were sold out at the gun show where I was looking at everything. So since I am having to wait a while I wanted to bounce my findings off of some good ole THF wisdom. If your still with me the question is "what do you know about the Ruger .380 LCP"? Thanks, Bankwalker

Seems to be a pretty reliable weapon....they are hard as heck to get, though! We cannot keep one for more than 2 days, each time we get one in stock!

I had a Kel Tec P3AT and my next door neightbor has a Ruger LCP. Side by side the LCP has a much nicer finish and feels a lot more solid. I have heard good things about the LCP.

I have been doing a lot of research on the Ruger LCP and everything that I have found says that it is the best pocket type pistol on the market. I have been on the waiting list at several Academy's for a few weeks and just got one a couple of days ago. I am very impressed with the look, finish and feel of the gun. I can't wait to shoot it here in a few days and I will let you know what I think about it then.

Great info guys. I am even more pumped about getting mine than before.
Lone Ranger, I will look forward to reading your first hand report.

I have one. It has been flawless through 200 rounds of FMJ and 60 rounds of Corbon DPX +P hollow points. This pistol is always with me now.
