If I don't bag one this weekend I will grab the rifle for the opener. Then depending on cam pics I will decide where to go.
I would much rather get my buck with the bow though.

I won't put it away but I may take the rifle out and sit on a hill overlooking a good sized draw.

Im with dlz. I would love to get my first deer with a bow BUT I will be breaking out the rifle in november. As soon as I fill the freezer the bow will come back out. Probably have both in the truck while Im out there.

Not putting it up but I will be hunting this year with a 50 caliber muzzle loading pistol. Wife bought it for me a few years back and I finally got a load worked up with it.

another year I say I am committed to the bow unitl I get my first kill but will probably crumbled under the pressure to be able to reach out touch a shooter...

I may grab a scoped rifle for a late season hunt over wheat fields in Colorado city, but I will stick with a bow for the most part.

Kinda weird. Im the only one of me my dad and brother that bow hunts so I havent started yet, we all start at the same time. I will cary rifle opening day as I am going to be hunting with my wife, but am taking the bow along as well as my hawkin.
