Dont take this personaly but there is a guy that lives in the area that is/was a dealer for gt and mb. He was probably one of the first 5 people in all of tx to own one of the new shorttails when they came out. Hell I know for a fact he drove back and forth to loisiana picking up boat and motors that he sold. He can breakdown the entire rig from airfilter to prop. If anyone should be up there at bps it's him. I'm gonna add this, if your gonna spend the kind of moneythese rigs cost you might wanna ask where the service centers are in the event you need repairs. I'll just come out and say it...His name is Robbie Ritchey of Fowl Play Mud Motors. While he may no longer be the G Trax dealer for the area, he is still a dealer for MB. Anyone in the D/FW area interested in just a MB motor should give him a call at (817)781-4091. Robbie is a stand up guy, works hard to provide great customer service and knows the motors up and down. And he's a helluva duckhunter to boot!

What's up on that new mud buddy with reverse that was supposed to be coming out The motors were to be released in Aug. Unfortunately the owner of MB had to be by his wife's side thru the spring and summer (unfortunately she lost her battle with cancer) and contractors did not get done what needed to get done. Once he re-engaged with the project the first batch of castings were bad so he rejected all of them and had them re-pour. Spoke with factory the other day and assy is to begin in a couple weeks. They are just waiting on 2 more components. I have personally run the Sport V ( vertical edition) proto down in La back in July and I can say it is a pretty sweet setup. It is basically an outboard with 4X4 capability. Shifts in and out of forw and rev just like an outboard. The shift lever is on the tiller arm just just like an outboard. We ran thick veg and mud in forward and reverse and it performed great. The new prop ( The Hammer) will be something all short tail owners will really enjoy. It hooks up great and launches you out of the hole with a smidge more top end to boot. Guys that were on the order list should start getting their motors prolly early to mid Nov. This includes those that ordered the Sport H ( horiz edition) as well. Sport V That engine looks badass homey. What size of boat is that motor designed for?

Is there a way to liquid cool mud motors without a lower intake?

Is there a way to liquid cool mud motors without a lower intake? No need for liquid cooled as air cooled is plenty sufficient. Btw, minimum length hull I would recommend is 16 feet, preferably 17 and up.

I'm dreaming of a 22' gator hide with twin sport V's on remote steer on hunt deck with fold down console, and quick removable poling platform and front deck. Trolling motor quick release mount and flush mount seat bases. Entire front deck is decoy storage.
Hmmmm. Dang near perfect, but make the motors sound like a New four stroke.
Add a Ice machine and a brewery under the deck, and a 3 gallon reproducing gas tank and I'll take two.
